Volkswagen launched its small car hatchback model Polo earlier this year and the car. The model received a warm welcome from the Indian customers but Volkswagen has been finding it tough to meet the demand from the Indian market. However, that does not keep the company from innovating each day. Volkswagen has already started working on a brand new Polo model in German which will have changed exteriors and re-furbished interiors as well. The model will be powered by the same engine as the current model but the design will be sleeker and less angular.

According to the sources, the new Polo coming to the Indian market may take up to four years to be commercially available but it will definitely carry more premium feel for its customers.

Volkswagen is also preparing its premium super hatch model VW Golf to be launched in the Indian market. The car will have inspired looks from the Jetta and will sport a leaner look as well. The car is expected to be introduced in the Indian market by 2012. Volkswagen Golf is a very pretty and luxurious small car which is equipped with latest hi-tech features and will be placed in the B+ segment in India. Volkswagen has not revealed the final details or the price of the model in India.
